This Warranty Info page explains the limited product warranty offered by Libidai for eligible products purchased directly from www.libidai.com or from an authorized seller.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, any mandatory rights provided under applicable consumer law.


1. Warranty period

Unless a longer period is required by law or stated on a specific product page, Libidai offers a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase for eligible products.

The warranty period begins on the date shown on the original proof of purchase.


2. What the warranty covers

This limited warranty covers verified defects in:

  • materials
  • workmanship
  • manufacturing quality

during normal intended consumer use and in accordance with the product instructions.

If a valid claim is approved, Libidai may, at its discretion and subject to local law:

  • repair the product
  • replace the product
  • provide a replacement part or accessory
  • provide store credit
  • issue a refund where repair or replacement is not appropriate

3. What the warranty does not cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear
  • cosmetic wear that does not affect core function
  • expected reduction in battery performance over time unless abnormal
  • dissatisfaction, personal preference, or non-defect performance concerns
  • damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper storage
  • damage caused by use contrary to product instructions
  • unauthorized opening, modification, repair, or tampering
  • damage caused by incompatible chargers, power sources, or accessories where not approved
  • water or liquid damage where the product is not rated for that exposure
  • damage caused by accidents, drops, crushing, fire, animals, or transport after delivery
  • loss, theft, or destruction
  • products purchased from unauthorized sellers
  • products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial or batch identifiers where those identifiers are required to verify the claim
  • consumables or hygiene-sensitive accessories unless defective on arrival

This warranty also does not cover any claim that is really a return request based on change of mind or hygiene restrictions. Those situations are handled under Returns & Exchanges.


4. Who can use this warranty

This warranty is generally available to the original end customer who purchased the product:

  • directly from Libidai, or
  • from an authorized reseller or distributor, provided the product is genuine and proof of purchase is available

The warranty may not be transferable unless required by law.


5. Proof of purchase

To make a warranty claim, the customer will usually need:

  • order number or receipt
  • purchase date
  • product name
  • purchase channel
  • serial number or batch identifier if available
  • a description of the problem
  • photos or video if requested

If proof of purchase cannot be provided, Libidai may be unable to validate the claim.


6. How to make a warranty claim

Customers should contact:

Please include:

  • full name
  • order number or proof of purchase
  • product name
  • serial or batch number if available
  • description of the problem
  • photos or video if requested
  • shipping country

Do not send any product back until support provides instructions.


7. Return authorization and troubleshooting

Before approving a warranty claim, Libidai may ask the customer to:

  • confirm setup steps
  • test charging and pairing
  • update firmware or app version if relevant
  • provide additional photos or video
  • confirm the issue under normal intended use conditions

This step helps distinguish a verified manufacturing fault from a setup issue, battery issue, compatibility issue, or user-side handling issue.

If the claim appears valid, Libidai may provide:

  • troubleshooting steps
  • replacement instructions
  • an RMA or return authorization
  • a shipping label where applicable
  • disposal instructions if a return is not required

8. Return shipping for warranty claims

If Libidai confirms that a warranty claim is valid and asks for the product to be returned, Libidai will generally handle the resolution in a commercially reasonable way, which may include:

  • providing a prepaid return option where available
  • reimbursing reasonable standard return shipping where pre-approved
  • sending a replacement without return where appropriate and safe

Customers should not ship products without prior authorization.

Libidai is not responsible for products lost in transit to us when they are sent without authorization or without the instructions we provide.


9. Remedies

If a warranty claim is approved, Libidai may choose the most appropriate remedy based on stock availability, defect type, route limitations, and local law.

Possible remedies include:

  • repair
  • replacement with the same model
  • replacement with a comparable model if the original is no longer available
  • replacement component or accessory
  • store credit
  • refund where repair or replacement is not practical

If a replacement model differs slightly in appearance or packaging due to updates or revisions, that does not make the replacement invalid.


10. Warranty period after replacement

Unless local law requires otherwise, a replacement product usually continues under the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days after replacement, whichever is longer.


11. Important safety note

If a product appears to overheat, emit smoke, leak, swell, spark, or behave in a way that may create a safety risk, the customer should:

  1. stop using it immediately
  2. disconnect it from charging if safe to do so
  3. keep it away from flammable materials
  4. contact support right away

Safety-related issues may be handled under both our warranty process and our product safety process.


12. Commercial, abusive, or fraudulent claims

Libidai reserves the right to deny a claim where we reasonably believe that:

  • the product was used commercially when it was sold for personal consumer use
  • the damage was caused intentionally or through serious misuse
  • the claim is fraudulent
  • the product is counterfeit
  • the customer has materially misrepresented the issue

This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.


13. Mandatory legal guarantees

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any legal guarantee or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded in the customer’s jurisdiction.

Where local law gives the customer stronger protection, that law will apply.
